I LOVE PARIS

Imagine being French and living in Paris. Imagine walking past the Eiffel tower on your way to work. Eating croissant and drinking coffee at a pavement cafe for breakfast. In the evening, you would even walk along the Seine River and watch tourists on boats float by. Of course, as a Parisian, you wouldn’t be doing those things while dressed in a t-shirt and shorts combo with flip flops on your feet. Contrarily, you would be in a chic outfit that you spent little to no effort in.

One thing about French fashion is that the pieces are timeless. For instance, in the 1920s, Coco Chanel introduced the little black dress that is simple, versatile, and elegant. Since then, the little black dress has became an essential piece in a French wardrobe. It was famously worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” which further popularized the dress. Today, the little black dress is perfect for any occasion, whether that be going for a casual lunch or a fancy dinner. 

Another timeless French fashion staple would be the trench coat, especially the classic beige trench which could be worn over almost any outfit to add a touch of elegance. Aside from aesthetic purposes, it also serves a practical purpose for days of unpredictable weather.
