KWC Model Search– Terms & Conditions

    1. The competition registration period commences on 9th September 2024 and ends on 19th September 2024, 11.59 pm of local time. 
    2. The competition is open to all FEMALE, aged 18 years and above with height above 165 cm.
    3. Entrants must be a permanent resident or citizen of Malaysia.
    4. Entrants must submit all information and fulfil all competition requirements.
    5. Inappropriate photos will not be accepted and entrant will be excluded from the competition. 
    6. Entrants who have existing representation must provide proof from their agency authorising their entry into the competition.
    7. The competition scoring system is based on the performances and commitment to attend all activities, tasks and/or class.
    8. Entrants must also be available for any fittings and rehearsals leading up to the event.
    9. By entering this competition, entrants warrant that their submissions are original and do not infringe on the copyright of any third parties.
    10. The Management accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries not received or delays in delivery due to technical disruptions, network congestion, or for any other reason.
    11. Past Winner(s) of KWC Model Search Top 6, Employees of The Management and all related sponsors, including their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
    12. The Management shall not be liable or in any way responsible to the entrant or any other person in relation to this competition and the entrant shall indemnify the Management for any loss, claim, liability, cost or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of opportunity, and any indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition. This exclusion applies regardless of whether that liability or responsibility arises in contract, tort (including negligence), equity, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise. Nothing in these terms applies to limit The Management or Partners’ liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law. 
    13. It is a condition of entry that any information reasonably required (including but not limited to interviews, photographs, attendance to photo shoots/events, provision of blogs etc.) by The Management for all marketing, advertising and promotion of The Competition be provided and used where appropriate. Copyright in all material provided to and/or taken by The Management remain with The Management at all times.
    14. As a condition of participating in this promotion, each entrant agrees to assign all of their rights, title and interest (including copyright) in and to their entries to The Management. Each entrant warrants to The Management that each entry submitted is an original artistic work of the entrant which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify The Management against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition. The Management is entitled to use any of the entries (including but not limited to photographs provided to The Management at any time for the purpose of inclusion in this competition) submitted for any purposes at its discretion, including for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
    15. Winners and Prizes

      – Winners will be disqualified from the Competition if she is found out for being dishonest, unable to fulfil the requirement(s) including the tasks and activities planned by The Management.

      – The Organizers reserves the right to replace any winners if she is found to be disqualified.

      – All winner(s) must present their original identification document (such as Passport or Identity Card) for verification during the collection of their prize money. Representatives will not be entertained.

      – Prize money will be disbursed to the named winner upon confirmation by the organizer. 

      – The Management reserves the right to change the prizes value at any point of time without prior notice.

      – Entrant(s) shall exhibit a good etiquette and showmanship, any reprehensible conduct including but not limited to language attacking, condemning, criticising or performing any action that resulted negative image to defame KWC Fashion Wholesale, the Management, other entrant(s), or any related party to the Model Search, in any form of media platform including and not limited to traditional media and online, The Management reserved the right to disqualify the said party, and strict legal action will be taken against the entrant without further reference and the said entrant will be further liable under Communications & Multimedia Act 1998 and any other Acts and/or Statues governed and construed in accordance with the law of Malaysia.

      – Results and Announcements made by the organizer during the event shall be deemed final.

    16. All other expenses not covered by the prizes shall be borne by the Entrants or Winners at their own cost.
    17. The Management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notification.
    18. The Management reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Competition without prior notification. 
    19. KWC Model Search 2024 (The Competition) is organised by PERBADANAN PENGURUSAN KOMPLEKS KENANGA WHOLESALE CITY (The Management). All decisions made shall be deemed final.
