Merdeka Fest – 1 August
Kick off the Merdeka celebrations with our Merdeka Fest on 1 August! Shop for stylish Baju Merdeka, traditional outfits and batik, perfect for celebrating Malaysia’s national day in style. Visitors can also explore their creative side at our Batik Painting Workshop and enjoy nostalgic Malaysian games including Batu Seremban, Congkak and classic board games. It’s a celebration of Malaysian heritage, creativity and cherished memories — all in one festive day!

KWC x Streetmeet Photoshooting – 8 August, 10am
Calling all fashion and street-style enthusiasts! KWC teams up with Streetmeet for a special Merdeka-themed photoshoot at the iconic Dataran Merdeka. Celebrating Malaysia through fashion and street culture, this collaboration brings together style, creativity and the vibrant spirit of Merdeka against one of Kuala Lumpur’s most recognisable landmarks.

Get ready for a colourful celebration of Malaysian fashion on 15 August! In collaboration with Dia Model, KWC will host a spectacular Merdeka Costume Fashion Show, showcasing creative and festive looks inspired by Malaysia’s diverse culture and heritage.
The little ones can also join the fun at the Merdeka Kids Costume Contest! Children can dress up in their favourite Merdeka-inspired outfits and showcase their creativity, confidence and love for Malaysia. Come cheer on the participants and enjoy a fun-filled fashion showcase for the whole family!

The Merdeka celebrations continue with Bouncy Castle fun from 29 August to 6 September at the Lower Ground Floor! Perfect for families with young children, this exciting attraction gives little ones the chance to play, bounce and make happy memories during the Merdeka season.

Shopper Redemption – How It Works
- Spend RM50 in a single receipt at any participating KWC shop.
- Redeem one (1) bouncy castle entry ticket per receipt.
- Each ticket admits one child aged 4–12 years old.
- Each shopper may redeem a maximum of two (2) tickets throughout the campaign.
- Kids must wear socks before entering the bouncy castle for hygiene and safety.
- Redemption is on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.
